Star and Bar takes firearm safety very seriously.

StealthBooks, as crafted and sold by Star and Bar, used for firearm concealment are not to be used in homes or areas where untrained firearm persons and or children are present. They are also not intended to replace a regulatory gun safe.

Our products do not meet the Regulatory Gun Safe Standards of the state of California. They are not listed or approved by UL (previously known as Underwriters Laboratory) or any other Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) as a Residential Security Container. Our products are not secure storage and are not to be used as such.

By purchasing and/or using a StealthBook for firearm concealment you indicate that you are in complete compliance with the applicable laws in your location, including but not limited to, the possession, ownership, use and storage of firearms. 

Under no circumstances is Star and Bar to be held liable, in any way whatsoever, for the use or misuse of any type or category of StealthBook safes we produce.

Star and Bar under no circumstances shall be responsible for product malfunctioning or for physical injury, death or damage to property resulting from either intentional or accidental discharge of a firearm contained within any StealthBooks or products produced by Star and Bar.

 

Star and Bar, referred to as 'Company'

Star and Bar, under no circumstances shall be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special consequential damages, to property or life, whatsoever arising out of Customer’s decision to keep firearms or other weaponry in Company’s product. Warning: storing weapons in Company’s product is at the Customer’s risk. Furthermore, Company does not make gun safes. No product sold by Company is intended to serve as a substitute for a government-regulated gun safe. Should your state or country require a gun safe for gun storage, Company makes no representations that this product meets your state’s gun safe requirements. (See, e.g., California Penal Code Section 23650) Furthermore, in the event your product has a locking mechanism, Company represents that locks are not failsafe and may fail for any reason. Any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special consequential damages, to property or life arising from the reliance on a locking mechanism is assumed by Customer and Company shall not be liable for said failure.
