I am so happy with my "books", of which I bought both sizes with foam, that I bought extras as Christmas gifts. I not only love that they 'disappear' in my floor to ceiling bookcase, my other bookcases, even with my recipe books, but that I can use them for documents, jewelry, and so many other things. I had also recently had a problem, wondering why an order I had been charged for hadn't arrived. I hadn't even received a confirmation email. As it turns out, once I contacted Star and Bar, they found that I had entered a mistyped email address. This was taken care of immediately, and my order was delivered in record time. Two is better than one and the foam insert keeps the tool tucked in and silent when moving the book/box. One in the library and the other by my reading chair. Perhaps there is room for a third...

These are well constructed - impressive. Combination easy to change and open! Book is beautiful for displaying! Process was easy when I purchased. I made an error - was fixed immediately. Excellent product and great customer service!

Extremely well made. Easily holds my Kahr 9 mm and 2 magazines. The lock appears to be sturdy and easy to set. The "book" fits in well with my real books and doesn't draw attention to itself. After receiving the first book, I ordered a second with a different title. Both are great additions to my home and allow me easy, yet safe, access to my weapons should they be needed in an emergency.

If you think you need a second book and they offer it to you for almost half the price, do it! Lol. Super worth it, even if you dont think youll need another. Just a good place to keep things safe, because a thief wont steal a book. I like its discreet-ness, i might have to put a more boring cover on it, (to keep the kiddos away from it) but if im in need of quick access, its there.

Ordered two, both with the foam inserts. They are perfect for keeping a firearm accessible but out of plain sight. Most firearms are a fairly expensive investment and the foam inserts assure there will be no damage, physical or cosmetic, to the firearm. One "book safe" is mine and one was given to a son for a birthday gift. We both LOVE them.

I forgot to share my pleasure at Star & Bar Including foam inserts. Star & Bar knows how to protect my handgun. Including foam not only for the bottom of the box but, also on the top cover lid. I feel my weapon will be protected from any scratches etc. This is a nice feature. I feel a lot of thought went into disguising in plain sight but, also to protect the finish. These quality handguns cost a lot. I know, besides myself, we ALL want a perfect finish on our “babies”.

This gun safe disguised as a book is an excellent way to keep your gun nearby while also keeping those in the house safe.
